Gogo Vision: From Setbacks to Stars - Boeing's Starliner Takes Flight!

Boeing's Starliner space capsule successfully launched carrying two NASA astronauts from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This is the first crewed flight for the commercially built capsule which aims to dock with the International Space Station after a 25-hour journey. The mission faced several delays and issues, including flight computer problems and a helium leak, but those were resolved for this launch. Boeing has faced setbacks compared to SpaceX in commercial space transportation, with previous failed missions and technical issues. The astronauts on Starliner will test key systems and perform manual controls as it docks with the space station. After about a week aboard the station, the crew is scheduled to land in the southwest U.S. NASA plans to alternate astronaut flights between Boeing and SpaceX every six months pending successful certification of the Starliner vehicle for operational missions.
